Do you like scary movies?
We have three for you.
Camp Maven returns with a late-night trip to Woodsboro for a triple feature of the original Scream trilogy. Film Maven Haven Society and Orem Library are teaming up for movies, trivia, prizes, themed concessions, a pizza party, lobby fun, and a few important rules of horror.
Come ready to scream, snack, and survive. Just don’t say, “I’ll be right back.”
What are the rules?
rule one:
show up early.
The first film starts at 7:15 PM, but doors open at 6:00 PM. Come early to check in, grab concessions, visit the lobby vendors, browse merch, take photos, and settle in before the screaming starts. The lobby is part of the event, so give yourself time to enjoy it.
rule two:
play along.
This is a full Camp Maven night built around the original Scream trilogy. Between the scares, we’ll have a pizza party, trivia, giveaways, horror and fantasy vendors, a costume parade, and a special guest (TBR) who knows what it takes to be Ghostface. Bring your movie knowledge, your best Woodsboro energy, and your willingness to get a little ridiculous.
rule three:
survive.
This is a late-night marathon, and only the dedicated make it to the final credits. Stick around through all three films and you’ll earn a commemorative Camp Maven survivor reward—proof that you survived Woodsboro and lived to tell the tale.
Film Maven Haven Society is a nonprofit working to bring community cinema back to Utah County: a place where people can gather for classic films, cult favorites, family screenings, film education, events, and shared moviegoing experiences.
Camp Maven is part of that effort. Every snack, shirt, sticker, donation, and show of support brings FMHS one step closer to securing a permanent home.
